Shabby home

Ciao my dear followers! It’s been a while since my last post and now I have decided to make a beautiful post about shabby interior design.

I have picked up some ideas, so you can find below inspiration for bedroom, living room and also some details which you can add anywhere in your home!

I really like to mix baroque and shabby chic type of furniture, it looks really classy & stylish.

Hope you’re gonna enjoy it!

Interior design festival in Zagreb

Hello beauty lovers!

In September I have visited InDizajn interior design festival which was held in Arena Zagreb.

Even though the festival was pretty small and I have expected much more from it, I have collected some fresh inspiring ideas which have enriched the way I see the space around me.

Here are my favorite pieces:

Sculpture by Tatjana Politeo

Tatjana Politeo was born in Zagreb on 15 July 1976. After finishing the School of Applied Arts and Design, she graduated  from Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb. She is a member of the Croatian Artists Association and Croatian Freelance Artists Association.

Piano Chair design Lidija Krejić

Very comfortable chairs for music lovers.

 Shelf by Bauhaus

I really like this cool shelf. It is so simple and easy diy project.

Lamp by Filip Gordon Frank

I am sure that these lamps will fit into any apartment and will add some “industrial” style.

Italian design…Gervasoni

It’s not a secret that I love Italy!

I love their history, art, fashion and of course great food. Since I have lived in Milan and travelled throughout the country, Italy did  grab me with it’s charm, history and character. And now it’s love for life…

Did I mention that it’s also colorful, full of life, has amazing churches and museums  and great food? Italians have certainly mastered the art of living.

Today I will focus on italian design. I’ll present you a collection from Paola Navone for Gervasoni.

Paola Navone graduated in architecture from Turin Politecnico. At the beginning of her career, she worked for Alchimia group developing a highly productive  avant-garde stance which gained her, in 1983, the prestigious Osaka International Design Award.

In her career, she has switched easily between the roles of architect,  art director, interior designer,  teacher and organiser of exhibitions.  She has worked for Laminati, Armani Casa,  Piazza Sempione, Mondo, Driade, Orizzonti, Dada,  Natuzzi,  Swarovski and others.

Below you can find selected part of her collection BRICK for Gervasoni  It’s so timeless and classical.

My favorite one is brick table, made of natural and hand carved barked trunk section.

Enjoy the photos!

Welcome to Sweden…

I love Stadshem. It is place where you can find beautiful appartements and if you can afford, you can also buy them 🙂

Today, take a tour with me and we are going to the second-largest city in Sweden, situated on the west coast, welcome to Göteborg, your destination is Storhöjdsgatan 7 B!

I must admit, I am a big fan of Scandinavian interior design. It is so simple with clean lines and warm functionality.

I will just point out three main characteristics of this appartement:

  • Wood floors except the bathroom.
  • White walls and soft grey and blue textiles give off the right ambiance of a Scandinavian interior.
  • Natural wood furniture to create a warm Scandinavian space.

No words are needed, just get inspired by this amazing appartement which has only 50 square meters.

The best stuff in IKEA new catalogue

It’s here! It’s here! IKEA catalogue 2017

It was such a happiness when I have found a new IKEA catalogue hanging on my home doors. And I have received it on Sunday. Oh, what a perfect day! With the glass of Aperol Spritz, I was looking carefully what does every page offer and bookmarking my favourites.

This year’s theme is “Goodbye expectations. Hello you!” The Swedish retailer says: “In this year’s catalogue, we’ve tried our best to create home furnishing solutions that help people to live a life without negative expectations. We want people to care less about other people’s opinions—and more about what they want themselves.”

The catalogue is focused on how to make most of the small spaces and there is a certain mix of classic and modern designs. It is also inspired by green living trends – from sustainable products to planters.

Here are my favourites:

KULLABERG, price: 399 kn

Old school chair, reminds me on the chairs that we used to have in a primary school. This one is upgraded with modern functions and would suit well in modern industrial design space.

LIXHULT, price: from 119 kn – 1.462 kn

I like these cabinets because you can mix and match them depending on the style that you want to achieve in your space. You can put them in kitchen, living room, bedroom and also kids room to make it more vivid.

Plain, simple and at the same time so stylish.

SUNNERSTA, price: 199 kn

Cheap, cute and for sure will add value to you living space.

Inspirational Interior design

In this very first post, I will write about Light Lab. It is a creative studio and event space and I like their philosophy and interior design.

Light Lab is located in Los Angeles. It is event space available for rentals and collaborations. It seems like canvas for everything from photo and video shoots to launch parties and workshops.

The clours are so warm and bright at the same time. It looks like a perfect place to create inspiring things!

Enjoy the photos!
